Since Destiny's initial release, new players had become apprehensive about joining. They felt intimidated. Overwhelmed. With voice technology becoming more prevalent, we saw an opportunity to bring Destiny's in-game guide, Ghost, into the real world — first as an Amazon Alexa skill, then as a limited-edition physical product.

Crafting the voice responses and prompts that made Ghost feel like the character players already knew, just living in their home now. Voiced by the actual in-game actor, players could manage weapons, message friends, get personalized recommendations, and explore lore — all without opening menus. Just ask Ghost.
